With his estranged father’s sudden death, the estate settlement requests his presence in the town of Birchwood Hollow.
While sorting through the estate details, he stumbled upon a cold case with a spiritual twist. The case brings three strangers. Cheyanne, a local deputy, and Moka, a wise old shaman, join Ahote. The two men join the protagonist in trying to prevent a huge threat, unleashing chaos with dire consequences. In their quest, they discover many hidden truths and secrets as the leaves fall. You will experience a thrilling narrative that infuses traditional point-and-click gameplay with a modern interface and retro-style graphics.
Story

The story begins in Birchwood Hollow, located near a Native reservation. The title As The Leaves Fall, features a Native American protagonist named Ahote. His parents abandoned him as a child. They sent him away from his birth town of Birchwood Hollow. Ahote grew up knowing his parents did not want him. Aside from that, he had very little information about his heritage or his cultural identity. After many years, Ahote’s estranged father died, leaving behind an estate. Ahote, now an adult, has been called back to his hometown to discuss the details behind the estate settlement.
On his arrival, he embarks on a mission to investigate the causes surrounding the death of his estranged father. Being a stranger to the land, he joins forces with two men, Cheyanne and Moka. They soon discover something is exceptionally wrong regarding his father’s cold case. A spiritual mystery connects to the case, and the trio must unravel it. However, failure to solve the case could cause the risk of unleashing upheaval with severe consequences. As The Leaves Fall features a complex and emotional narrative involving self-discovery and cultural identity.
