Rank Group Expands Live Casino Offering With Smart Studio Tables
Pragmatic Play announced on November 3, 2026 that it is supplying Rank Group with Blackjack, Roulette, Auto Roulette and Auto Speed Roulette tables powered by Smart Studio, giving the operator new live dealer titles alongside technology for branded environments, promotions and customised game presentation.
All four products use Smart Studio’s green-screen technology, which can immerse players in an operator’s preferred branding, highlight promotions or create distinct visual gaming experiences. The deployment adds live dealer content to Rank’s offering while giving it scope to tailor how that content appears to players.
The rollout extends a collaboration that also included Mecca Big Bass Double Dab, launched by Pragmatic Play exclusively with Rank’s Mecca Bingo brand. That earlier release was an exclusive collaboration with a named Rank brand; the new development covers four live casino products and the technology used to shape their presentation.
Shared Tables With Different Branding
Pragmatic Play’s Smart Studio documentation describes a model in which multiple brands can run on the same live casino table. Pragmatic Play says this significantly reduces costs and setup time compared with creating dedicated tables and studios for every brand, an option that is not viable for all operators as costs increase and margin pressure remains high.
The shared-table approach separates the underlying live game from the brand environment built around it. Operators can customise the entire backdrop with bespoke artwork, add logos or branding to the table and podium, and select colours or textures for table elements. Those controls provide several ways to distinguish a brand’s presentation while using the same live table infrastructure.
Promotional options include static banner images, videos and animated logos, although promotional videos are not available for Auto Mega Roulette. Voice-over options add another layer, allowing pre-recorded game announcements to be communicated in players’ preferred languages. Smart Studio therefore covers visual branding, promotional placement and spoken game information within the same customisation framework.
The wider Smart Studio portfolio also lists baccarat, Sic Bo, ONE Blackjack and Blackjack X alongside its roulette products. Baccarat is listed for up to six tables across classic and speed versions. Rank’s deployment focuses on blackjack and roulette, including two automated roulette products named in the announcement.
Sharon McHugh, Pragmatic Play’s director of public relations, said the launch covers some of the supplier’s most popular live casino games and pointed to the companies’ exceptionally strong working relationship.
Tom Orton, Rank’s director of content, said: “Pragmatic Play’s Smart Studio solution stands apart, giving us the perfect mix of exceptional product capability and flexibility. It adds a dynamic range of live dealer titles to our offering, while giving us the opportunity to deliver unique customisation to our products.”
For Rank, the practical result is a broader live dealer range with branding built into the delivery model. Shared tables address the infrastructure side, while the artwork, promotional and voice-over controls determine how that infrastructure is presented to players. That makes the rollout as much about differentiating Rank’s live casino experience as about adding new titles.
