So, what's been happening this week? League of Legends announced its 12.2 patch notes; rumors have suggested Hogwarts Legacy could be delayed to 2023; oh, and Microsoft struck a $70bn deal to acquire Activision Blizzard, of course.

It's all people seem to be talking about these days, and rightfully so, considering this gigantic move is one of the biggest in Microsoft history. And, as expected, it has caused Xbox Game Pass subscribers to start talking — mainly over the IPs that could very well secure roots on the platform after the acquisition. The fact is, it's bound to happen at some point, what with Activision Blizzard and their pile of subsidiary studios owning up to having a boatload of franchises.

Of course, we all know World of Warcraft is on its way to set up shop with Microsoft. Call of Duty, of course, is another huge pawn that will slowly transition into one of Microsoft's leading torchbearers. But what else will follow the herd come 2023? Well, in case you were wondering, here are the IPs Microsoft will technically own after sealing the deal with Activision Blizzard next year.
