Layers of Fear Demo Has Been Extended

Bloober Team, the firm behind the upcoming reimagined collection of Layers of Fear, has made the demo available to play until May 31, 2023.
In case you missed it, Bloober Team announced its plans to bring a playable demo of the revitalized edition of Layers of Fear to PC players earlier this month. Well, as it turns out, the demo received such acclaim, that the team behind it only went and made the decision to extend its end date. So, if you ever had any intentions of taking a sneak peak at the forthcoming psychological horror, then now's the time to cash your chips — before it's too late.
The warm welcome you gave to the Layers of Fear demo was a very joyful experience for us. Therefore, with great pleasure, we wish to inform you that we have decided to extend the demo until May 31, 2023. Join us on Steam and have fun!#BlooberTeam #SteamDemo pic.twitter.com/zLT84xLcXV

What Is Layers of Fear (2023)?
“All stories must come to an end, even twisted and eerie ones,” the Steam description reads in part. “The canvas. The stage. The novel. This narrative-focused psychological horror experience is ready for its final brushstrokes, its curtain call, its final chapter. Are you ready to return and face your fears one last time?”
The only real downside to this is that console users won't be able to jump on board with the demo. Instead, Bloober Team will only release it to those playing on PC. This isn't to say the devs won't rustle something up for Xbox and PlayStation, though. It's just that, at least for the time being, it won't be shedding its Steam exclusivety.
Whatever the case, those on console won't have to wait all that long for a full release, anyway. Matter of fact, Layers of Fear is in line to go live on both consoles and PC on June 15, 2023. Until then, you can check in with the team over on its official social feed for additional updates here.
