Bohemia Interactive Becomes Co-Owner of Everwind Developer Enjoy Studio
Bohemia Interactive has acquired a minority stake in Enjoy Studio, the Polish developer of co-op first-person survival RPG Everwind, the company announced on its official blog on September 15, 2026. The transaction makes Bohemia a co-owner of the Warsaw-based studio and, the company said, its first investment in a Polish game development company.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed, with Bohemia saying only that it “stays between us.” The company said both studios will keep their own identity and creative independence following the investment.
Bohemia framed the deal as the outcome of a two-year working relationship rather than a wager on a single title. “It’s not a bet on one game. It’s a bet on people,” the company wrote, adding that it had spent two years getting to know how the team works, how it builds its games, and how it communicates with players. The shared goal, Bohemia said, is to make the best games possible and reach as many players as they can.
From Incubator to Co-Ownership
Enjoy Studio joined the Bohemia Incubator in 2024, a program Bohemia runs to back promising teams and projects in its region, acting as consultant and publisher to the studios it takes on. The relationship, the company said, moved from incubation to a working partnership and now to shared ownership.
The partnership has already produced joint releases. Alongside Everwind, the two companies jointly released Space Tail: Definitive Edition, a remastered version of the space adventure. Enjoy Studio’s website lists Bohemia Interactive as the publisher of both Everwind and Space Tail.
Everwind’s Early Access Run
Everwind is a co-op first-person survival RPG in which players construct an airship and set out across a world of floating islands. The game launched into Early Access on Steam on March 17, 2026. Bohemia said Everwind has since sold more than 300,000 copies and that more than one million players have added it to their wishlists, figures the publisher presented as coming over half a year of Early Access.
Enjoy Studio’s own listing describes the title as a first-person RPG sandbox survival game set above the clouds, in which players establish a base aboard a flying island-ship, then gather, craft and loot their way across an airborne world alongside friends. The studio lists it for PC, with co-op, RPG and sandbox survival among its tags.
Enjoy Studio’s Portfolio and Services
Enjoy Studio S.A. was founded in 2020 and is based in Warsaw, where it develops original games and contributes work-for-hire support to selected partner projects, according to the studio’s official website. The studio bills itself as production-minded, listing a delivery focus on readable scope, stable builds and platform-aware decisions from planning through launch. Bohemia described the developer as a fast-growing studio specializing in game development and porting, and said it has shipped two titles since 2020 with a team that mixes young enthusiasts and industry veterans.
The studio’s catalogue lists three internal projects. Alongside Everwind, they are Space Tail, a 2.5D adventure platformer that follows Bea on a journey through space, mixing puzzle solving with encounters with alien civilizations, and The Witch of Fern Island, an open-world life sim set on Fern Island and published by indie.io. On the external side, Enjoy Studio contributed a UI redesign and multi-platform production support to One Lonely Outpost, spanning PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and the Microsoft Store.
Its listed specializations include Unreal Engine, Unity3D, C++ and C# development, custom engines, animation and 3D art, UI and UX for games, multiplayer and co-op systems, survival and RPG systems, console porting, performance optimization and QA support. The site’s service lines cover console porting to PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, original game development from concept through release, QA and certification, release management, trailer and motion-capture production, and technical support.
Bohemia said the investment gives Enjoy Studio the backing it needs to carry Everwind through to full release and to bring the game to more platforms, consoles included.
