AGS Unveils Glō UR43 as First Model in New Slot Cabinet Family

Gaming supplier AGS introduced the Glō UR43 on August 25, 2026, the first model in a new video gaming cabinet family, with the cabinet’s public debut set for the 2026 Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.
The company describes Glō as a cabinet family built around the interaction of light, shape and surface. The UR43 pairs a sculpted, asymmetrical silhouette and warm ambient illumination with a champagne metallic finish. Inside the shell, the cabinet carries a 43-inch 4K portrait display as its main game screen, a 27-inch full-HD topper above it, and 16 controllable lighting zones that shift to match the color spectrum and personality of each game the cabinet houses.
AGS is positioning the new family as an expansion of its hardware portfolio rather than a replacement for anything in it. In the company’s announcement, Mark DeDeaux, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Slots at AGS, said:
“Glō also represents the next evolution of our cabinet strategy. It expands our portfolio alongside Spectra, giving operators another distinct platform, a dedicated pipeline of content, and greater choice in how they build the right mix for their floors. It’s a culmination of all the things we’ve learned, with a focus on modernizing the cabinet.”
The UR43 will launch with three game families developed specifically for the cabinet. Two extend one of the supplier’s best-known slot franchises: Rakin’ Bacon! Ultra Bankrollers and Rakin’ Bacon! Ultra Squeallionaire stack five Cornsquealius characters above the reels, each tied to its own waterfall-style five-pot feature and growing as cash-on-reels symbols land. The Roaring Express family introduces Tiger General and Warrior Empress, pairing two hold-and-win mechanics with a train theme. Rounding out the lineup, Hu Bao Bei Tiger Riches and Hu Bao Bei Tiger Bloom combine the company’s three-pot frenzy mechanic with an expanding-wild bonus feature.
Where Glō Fits in the AGS Cabinet Lineup
DeDeaux’s comments place Glō third in a lighting-led hardware progression the company traces through its Orion and Spectra lines. Spectra, the family Glō now sits alongside, debuted at G2E in 2022. AGS announced that cabinet on September 28, 2022, describing a 43-inch UltraHD 4K portrait monitor, game-controlled eclipse lighting and V-Sync technology for linking video across banked machines. At the time, the company said it expected Spectra to carry the deepest content pipeline of any new cabinet launch in its history, supporting both Class II and Class III end markets.
A second Spectra model, the UR49C with a 49-inch curved monitor, followed at G2E 2023. The UR43 keeps the same screen class as the original Spectra while moving the lighting system to the center of the design: the 16 zones are built into the cabinet’s form rather than projected onto an existing shape, which the company says is what distinguishes Glō from simply adding effects to older hardware.
Founded in 2005 with roots in the Class II Native American gaming market, AGS now supplies Class II and III slot machines, table products, card shufflers and online games to casino operators. The cabinet launch lands in a busy stretch for gaming suppliers on Gaming.net’s pages: table-games licensor Galaxy Gaming posted record recurring revenue with the terminated Evolution merger behind it, while rival supplier Light & Wonder won a table-games technology deal across seven Delaware North casino properties.

The event is the industry’s largest North American trade show and the same venue where AGS debuted Spectra four years earlier.
