OpenBet Agrees to Acquire Sportsbook Technology Provider OmniLogic

OpenBet has reached an agreement to acquire sportsbook technology provider OmniLogic, the betting and gaming technology company announced on September 15, 2026. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to complete later in 2026. OpenBet said the deal further strengthens its position as the partner of choice for lotteries worldwide.

OpenBet, which describes itself as the leading global provider of betting and gaming technology, content and services, said the acquisition will expand its footprint across regulated lottery markets, adding established operator partnerships and specialist sportsbook expertise to its global business. On completion, the company said, the deal will further strengthen its position as the leading provider of sports betting and platform solutions to World Lottery Association (WLA) members worldwide.

The company also said the transaction will add further scale, technology expertise and operational depth to its global business, strengthening its position as a trusted partner to Tier 1 operators across complex, highly regulated betting markets worldwide.

Nikos Konstakis, President at OpenBet, said the company has built its leadership position by partnering with leading operators in the world’s most demanding regulated markets, and called the acquisition a natural extension of that strategy. He said it adds proven technology, specialist expertise and established customer partnerships that complement OpenBet’s existing capabilities.

“Lotteries remain the core focus of our growth strategy, and OmniLogic has built a strong reputation in this sector through long-standing customer partnerships and a deep understanding of their requirements,” Konstakis said. He added that bringing that expertise into OpenBet further strengthens the company’s position in the global lottery market.

OmniLogic’s Platform and Customer Base

According to the announcement, the OmniLogic team has provided sportsbook technology services to major regulated lottery operators and WLA members for over a decade. The platform supports omnichannel betting operations across retail, online and mobile for major lottery and betting operators across EMEA, with trading, risk management and back-office functionality.

On its website, OmniLogic states that it designs, builds and operates critical components of modern betting, lottery and transaction platforms. The components it lists include sportsbook and lottery platform integration, high-throughput feed and odds processing, player account and wallet systems, regulatory data pipelines, risk, integrity and trading infrastructure, compliance-driven software development, and site reliability engineering and managed operations.

The company states that it serves WLA members and state lotteries, Tier-1 sportsbook operators and regulated-market operators across Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Team, Locations and Leadership

As part of the acquisition, OmniLogic’s specialist team, based principally in Győr, Hungary, will join OpenBet. OpenBet said the team brings deep technical expertise and extensive experience in developing and supporting sportsbook technology across retail and digital channels.

OmniLogic’s about page identifies Hungary as its headquarters and primary engineering hub, with OmniLogic Ltd based in Győr. The company also lists a software testing laboratory and support services in the Philippines, and project management and back-office operations in Cyprus. OmniLogic states that it was founded by engineers and industry specialists with more than 20 years of experience building sportsbook, lottery and transactional platforms for tightly regulated environments.

The page names Vicente Torrejón as chief executive officer and Dávid Márk Gábor as chief technology officer, each described as having more than 20 years of industry experience. OpenBet’s announcement identifies the pair as OmniLogic’s co-founders.
