Creator Jynxzi Buys FYR Strays and Rebrands the Siege Roster
Ubisoft announced on November 6, 2026, that Rainbow Six Siege player and Twitch streamer Jynxzi had acquired the FYR Strays esports team from CAMPFYR. The team will now be called Jynxzi Esports, extending the creator’s existing Siege activities into team ownership as the roster pursues a place at the next Six Invitational and a spot in North America’s Tier 1 league for 2027.
Ubisoft said FYR Strays, founded in 2026, was undefeated during an inaugural season that included first-prize finishes at the NA Open Cup Palmetto Bay 2026 and the NA Open Cup Finals 2026. Bootz, Franklin, Jayyguns, Looo, Mingo and Chixtt form the current active roster changing identity following the acquisition.
Two Qualification Routes Await Jynxzi Esports
The newly named team has qualified directly for the playoff phase of the Six Invitational Last Chance Qualifier. Eight teams will compete in best-of-three matches under a double-elimination format, with a place at the next Six Invitational available. That direct position was already in place when the acquisition was announced, so Jynxzi Esports begins its new identity with an existing qualification run underway.
FYR Strays also qualified directly for the Challenger Finals playoff phase. Winning that tournament would earn a place in the Blast R6 Tier 1 North America League in 2027. The two paths carry different competitive consequences: the Last Chance Qualifier offers a route to the next Six Invitational, while a Challenger Finals victory would secure a league place for the following year.
Ownership Extends Jynxzi’s Existing Siege Work
Ubisoft characterized Jynxzi as one of the world’s most popular Rainbow Six Siege creators. He has collaborated with the publisher on several Siege events. The six-hour Jynxzi’s Tournament, held earlier in 2026, featured 16 creators competing in 2v2 matches, adding event hosting to the playing and streaming background that preceded this acquisition.
Jynxzi also won the 2025 Six Invitational MVP award, which Ubisoft commemorated with official Rainbow Six Siege cosmetics. The Jynxzi MVP Bundle contains custom-designed Headgear, a Uniform, a Weapon Skin and a Card Background. Players can obtain the Jinxzy Chibi weapon charm by linking their Ubisoft Connect and Twitch accounts, then subscribing to Jynxzi’s channel.
The acquisition adds team ownership to a Siege history that now spans playing, streaming, event hosting, Ubisoft collaborations and in-game cosmetics. The active roster takes on the Jynxzi Esports identity with direct playoff places in both tournaments already secured. Its next results can determine whether it reaches the next Six Invitational and whether it joins North America’s Tier 1 league in 2027, giving the new owner immediate competitive stakes beyond the rebrand.
