Games like Evil West

As gamers await the release of Evil West, the game is already causing a stir in the gaming community. Set in the Old West, players have to battle the dark menace that lurks using a set of unique tools to emerge as the Wild West Superhero. Developed by Focus Entertainment, the game is set for release in September 2022. However, before then, here's a look at some of the top games like Evil West.

5. Blight: Survival

Set in the dark ages, Blight: Survival gives fans a front-row seat to battle it out in the Resident Evil-themed game. The game is more about horror than survival. Unlike in other fighting games, where you can increase your chance of survival by building bases, in this one you have to use wit and strategy to eliminate the monstrosities on the land.

At the start of the game, your character is placed in a no man's land where two surrounding states are engaged in an endless war. Amidst the chaotic warfare, a fast-spreading virus is turning men into horrific creatures that terrorize the town. You and three other friends are tasked with the responsibility of slaying these creatures and restoring the town to normalcy.

The game allows players to link up with three friends and wage war through the darkness in search of these blights. You get access to a wide range of armor and weapons, and you can also customize them to your play style. What's more, you can also confiscate items from loot, such as food and weapons. You should expect to fight off creatures at every turn; therefore, it's essential to always be armed to the teeth. Developers are yet to announce the game's release date.

4. Devil May Cry

Devil May Cry 5 – Main Trailer

Immerse yourself in an exciting and unadulterated action series with Capcom Production's Devil May Cry. This is not a new action-packed game for avid gamers since it has been in the gaming industry for more than 20 years. The game is enticing and worthwhile for gamers looking for an action thrill, featuring well-thought-out gameplay, an arsenal of weapons and armory, and a combo of skill sets that keeps getting better and better.

The game starts with the primary character, Dante, who is a spawn of Sparta. Sparta was once a devil soldier who served in the Devil Prince's army and then turned to be the savior of humans. He would then marry a human and bear a son who is half-man, half-devil.

His son then takes on the mantle as a head-hunter until he embarks on a new quest to prevent the devil from coming back. With seven installments to the series, gamers engage in Dante's past, present, and future life. The game provides pure combat, with the main character possessing robust fighting skills, agility, strength, and plenty of guns. What's more, the game allows you to turn into a monster for a limited time, possessing unique powers. With this set of skills, the devil may indeed cry.

3. The Callisto Protocol

The narrative-driven game puts the player at the center of the action as Jacob Lee, an inmate at the Black Iron Prison. Soon enough, an outbreak ensues that turns the rest of the inmates into bloodthirsty aliens. You now have to exercise your hand-to-hand combat skills, fighting off the creatures to gain a chance of survival. Not only will you experience the horrifying scene of monsters, but you will also get to unveil the long-lost secrets of Jupiter's moon.

The game is endowed with plot twists. You'll soon discover that a close source is a reason behind the invasion. The single-player game allows you to scavenge for new weapons. You'll also get a blend of shooting and hand combat to defeat the ever-evolving monstrosities. Your objective is to escape the prison before engulfing the chaos.

Finally, making it to the top of our list of games like Evil West is the survival horror game Evil Dead. This Saber Interactive game has two modes, PVP combat and cooperative gameplay. The game borrows a few concepts from the Evil Dead film series, such as the cabin in the woods, which you'll find in one of the multiple maps.
