Xbox Game Pass Receives 6 New Games

To celebrate the Halloween season, Xbox has popped up out of the blue with six new horror essentials for its Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate empire.

If there was ever a time to punch your ticket to the Xbox Game Pass platform, this would probably be it — even more so if you're a horror fanatic with an everlasting hunger to play every essential survival horror game that breaches the market. Thanks to Xbox, subscribers to both Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate will receive six new games. And of course, being the Halloween season, it comes as no major surprise that they're predominantly horror-themed. Not that that's a bad thing, though.

From today, subscribers will be able to access Amnesia: The Collection, Amnesia: Rebirth, SOMA, and Phantom Abyss. Amnesia: The Collection, which is made up of The Dark Descent, A Machine for Pigs, and Justine, is clearly the poster child of this recent upload, followed closely by its 2020 sequel, Rebirth. SOMA basically speaks for itself, and Phantom Abyss, well — Indiana Jones fans will surely get a kick out of that one.

The good news is, all of the above games will be available to play immediately. So, if you're already an active member of the Game Pass squad, then you'll be able to dive straight in. If not, then you can pick up your subscription to the platform for $9.99.

For even more updates on the Game Pass front, be sure to follow their official social handle here. We'll be sure to let you know if anything else drops in the meantime.

So, what's your take? Will you be picking up any of the above games this Halloween season? Let us know over on our socials here or down in the comments below.
