Adam Chibib Tapped to Lead IGT Finance as Next CFO Starting November 1
IGT announced the appointment of Adam Chibib as its next chief financial officer on 14. september 2026, in a release datelined Las Vegas and distributed through PRNewswire. The appointment takes effect 1. november 2026, subject to receipt of all required regulatory approvals. Chibib will succeed Fabio Celadon, whose career with IGT and its predecessor companies spans more than two decades.
The release, published in the company’s online newsroom, sets out a defined handover timeline for the finance chief role. Celadon will remain chief financial officer through 31. oktober 2026. He will then serve as an advisor through 31. desember 2026, an arrangement the company said is intended to support a smooth transition.
As chief financial officer, Chibib will lead IGT’s global Finance organization. The company said he will help align financial strategy, capital priorities and business execution to support IGT’s long-term objectives, and described the appointment as a step intended to advance its financial and operational transformation.
IGT said it is executing a transformation focused on operating discipline, portfolio performance and cash flow creation across its Gaming, Digital and FinTech businesses. In the release, the company described Chibib as a seasoned public company and gaming executive with a proven record of operating discipline, strategic transactions and value creation.
Career Spans Public Companies and Private Equity
According to IGT, Chibib brings more than three decades of financial and operational leadership experience across public companies, private equity backed businesses and high growth technology organizations. The company said he has contributed to six successful exits over the course of his career.
Most recently, Chibib served as chief financial officer of Raptor Technologies, his most recent role before the IGT appointment. That company was acquired by Warburg Pincus in januar 2026 following what IGT described as a significant transformation under the ownership of Thoma Bravo and JMI Equity.
His gaming experience includes serving as president and chief financial officer of Multimedia Games. IGT said Chibib helped double revenue and triple profitability in that role, and that the company’s market capitalization increased from approximately $47 million to more than $1 billion before its $1.2 billion acquisition.
Chibib later served as chairman of the board and chair of the audit committee of playAGS, remaining in both roles through its acquisition in 2025. His earlier experience includes financial leadership roles at Self Financial, NetSpend and several technology companies, according to the release.
Executive Statements
In the release, chief executive officer Hector Fernandez pointed to the mix of experience he said Chibib brings to the role.
“Adam brings the public company, private equity and gaming experience we need for this stage of IGT’s transformation,” Fernandez said. “His financial discipline and operating mindset will be important as we sharpen execution and strengthen cash flow creation.”
Fernandez also used the announcement to thank the outgoing finance chief for his service. He said Celadon had given more than two decades of leadership and commitment to IGT, helped guide the company through significant change and been a trusted partner across the business.
Celadon Tenure at Lottomatica and IGT
Celadon became chief financial officer of Lottomatica S.p.A. in 2002 and has since served in senior leadership roles across finance, strategy, corporate development and international operations in Europe, North America and Asia, according to the company. IGT said that throughout his tenure he helped guide the company through periods of significant change.
In a statement included in the release, the incoming chief financial officer pointed to the strength of the business he is joining.
“IGT has a strong portfolio, leading market positions and a clear opportunity to create value,” Chibib said. “I look forward to working with Hector, the leadership team and the Finance organization to strengthen financial and operating discipline, align capital with our highest priorities and build a durable foundation for growth.”
