NVIDIA on 2026년 10월 15일, made DLSS 4.5 controls available on GeForce NOW, which the company said give members greater say over visual quality and performance in supported games streamed from the cloud, regardless of their local hardware. The GFN Thursday update also brings Keen Games’ Enshrouded 1.0 and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 to members at launch, alongside 10 new games for the cloud library.

What the DLSS 4.5 Controls Do

NVIDIA described three components behind the controls: DLSS Super Resolution increases image sharpness, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation cuts latency and stutter to keep streaming smooth, and Ray Reconstruction improves ray-traced imagery. Ultimate members streaming on GeForce RTX 5080-powered cloud rigs get the fullest set of options, with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation available up to 4X, the company said.

The settings live in the GeForce NOW app under settings on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Steam OS. NVIDIA pointed members to a support article for details on how the feature applies to each membership tier. The same support article also covers how to get the smoothest cloud streaming in some games on the service.

NVIDIA named 007 First Light, which now carries path tracing support, CONTROL Resonant and Resident Evil Requiem as titles where the controls can be tuned toward sharper visuals, faster response or a mix of both. Members can use the controls in supported games and keep playing across supported devices without downloads, local installs or new hardware, the company said.

Players who want to try the controls before subscribing can start with a day pass for premium cloud gaming; the day-pass cost counts toward a first monthly membership.

Enshrouded 1.0 and Boltgun 2 Stream at Launch

Enshrouded 1.0 marks the co-op survival action role-playing game’s exit from early access to full release. The full release is playable on GeForce NOW at launch across supported devices, and members can skip the 60GB local installation instead of clearing storage for the update.

The release adds nine new spells, fresh mage and archer skills, reworked wands, and Eternal spells and arrows that can be upgraded, on top of improvements to existing systems. New enemy variants join as well, and a new biome lifts the player level cap to 50 and the equipment cap to 55. Players rise as a Flameborn in a vast world where a corrupting fog has consumed a kingdom.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, the sequel to the retro first-person shooter, is streaming on GeForce NOW at launch with additional enemies and weapons beyond the first game, NVIDIA said. Its branching single-player campaign continues directly from the original.

Players choose between Sternguard Veteran Malum Caedo and Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath, each with their own abilities, weapons and approach to combat. New enemy types appear across settings ranging from hive cities to jungle swamps. Members need no local rig upgrades or game installs to play, NVIDIA said.

Ten Games Join the GeForce NOW Library

Ten new games join the service’s library in the update, additions NVIDIA said give members more places to put the new controls to work:

  • Deep Dish Dungeon (new release on Steam, 2026년 10월 13일)
  • Planet Zoo 2 (new release on Steam, October 13)
  • Total War: SHOGUN 2 – Complete Edition (new release on Steam, October 13)
  • Valor Mortis (new release on Steam, October 13)
  • Among the Trolls (new release on Steam, 2026년 10월 14일)
  • over the hill (new release on Steam, October 14)
  • Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 (new release on Steam, October 14)
  • Beyond These Stars (new release on Steam and Xbox, 2026년 10월 15일), available on Game Pass
  • Tenebris Somnia (new release on Steam, 2026년 10월 16일)
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered (Xbox), available on the Microsoft Store

The dates shown are store release dates, NVIDIA noted, and GeForce NOW availability can differ because games are onboarded after release and added through the week of the update.

NVIDIA also said the performance of DLSS 5’s 3D-Guided Neural Rendering model is improving by 2X, and that the faster model extends DLSS 5’s lighting and material improvements to more players while keeping frame rates and settings high. The new model debuts in NBA 2K27 on 2026년 10월 16일, across GeForce NOW, GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and RTX Spark laptops.
