Hacksaw Launches B2B Prediction Markets Platform With Malta License
Hacksaw Group announced the launch of its B2B Prediction Markets platform on 15 ตุลาคม 2026, a product built so that operators can offer prediction market experiences using the company’s technology infrastructure, distribution network and operator ecosystem, alongside Malta Gaming Authority approval of a license extension covering the new activity.
The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) approved an extension of Hacksaw’s existing B2B Critical Gaming Supply License to cover Type 3 Gaming Services, in addition to the Type 1 Gaming Services authorization the company already holds. The extension authorizes the offering of B2B peer-to-peer prediction market services under the MGA’s regulatory framework.
Hacksaw described the launch as a milestone in its evolution as a technology platform and said it reflects a strategy of moving into adjacent categories where its existing technology, commercial relationships and market reach can be applied. The platform was developed to accommodate increased market demand, the company said, drawing on its existing technology, know-how and development team while staying within its existing cost base.
Platform Built for Operators
Hacksaw’s model differs from consumer-focused prediction market platforms, which acquire and engage users directly. Rather than serving end users itself, the company plans to supply the technology, infrastructure and volume frameworks behind peer-to-peer prediction market experiences that operators run inside their own ecosystems. Operators keep ownership of their brands, customer relationships and user experiences while adding prediction market capabilities.
For operators, the platform offers a quicker route into peer-to-peer prediction markets because they no longer need to develop and run the underlying technology themselves, Hacksaw said, and can instead draw on their existing customer relationships and player ecosystems.
“Prediction markets represent a compelling new opportunity at the intersection of technology, entertainment and market participation,” said Ana Vrabic Verdir, Group CEO of Hacksaw Group. “We believe our existing platform, distribution capabilities and operator relationships position us exceptionally well to help businesses participate in this category.”
The platform has also been designed around a connected volume framework intended to aggregate peer-to-peer participation across Hacksaw’s network of operators. Hacksaw said the approach addresses one of the core challenges of bringing a new peer-to-peer prediction market offering to market, letting operators tap broader capacity from the start instead of building it on their own.
“We have created a solution that enables operators to access prediction market capabilities efficiently and at scale,” said Marcus Cordes, Operational CEO of Hacksaw Gaming. “Because we already work closely with operators across multiple jurisdictions, we believe we can provide a streamlined path to market while leveraging the technology, integrations and commercial infrastructure that we have spent years developing.”
The platform is built to match the compliance-first design of Hacksaw’s existing licensed gaming infrastructure, the company said.
Market Context
Prediction markets let participants trade on the likelihood of future events and outcomes across a broad range of categories. Hacksaw said interest in the sector has grown quickly in recent years as the products have gained popularity and wider adoption. The company, citing global equity research and brokerage firm Bernstein, said annual prediction market trading volumes could reach approximately $1 trillion by 2030 as adoption spreads to new use cases and geographies. With the platform launch, Hacksaw said it is positioned to help operators capture the infrastructure and distribution layer.
