The UK number was the last piece missing from a revision Nintendo set out on 8. svibnja 2026, when its Kyoto head office published a notice covering Japan, the United States, Canada and Europe. That announcement raised the US price by $50 to $499.99 and the Canadian price by $50 to $679.99, and pegged the European increase at €30, but left the UK figure to be confirmed later by the local subsidiary.

Inside Japan, one carve-out stands out: the multi-language version of the Switch 2 sold through My Nintendo Store keeps its existing price, while the cheaper Japanese-language-only model absorbs the full ¥10,000 increase. The Nintendo Switch Online revisions in the same notice detail new prices for Japan, with revisions also planned for South Korea.
