Fortunately for fellow die-hards of the WWE franchise, 2K Games isn’t holding back on 2K24的 release date. Matter of fact, it’s currently due to arrive on all major platforms as early as March, and with a slew of post-launch DLC content packs to follow suit, too. But what 其他 can we expect from the upcoming installment? Here’s everything we can tell you about it based on the information that’s been provided to date.

What Is WWE 2K24?

WWE 2K24的 is a single-player 和 online multiplayer third-person wrestling game, and the latest love letter to the world of WrestleMania. Like previous iterations in the 2K series, the 2024 installment will come loaded with a vast array of campaigns, exhibitions, collectibles, and other features. To celebrate the forty-year milestone of WrestleMania, however, the upcoming entry will also introduce a mode titled “Showcase…of the Immortals”—a ballad of iconic moments that will seemingly blend live-action footage with raw gameplay both in and outside of the ring.

In addition to the new Showcase scenario, 2K24 will also pave the way for countless new visual and technical improvements, as well as new MyFACTION cards and other legacy items. So, consider it a 明确 edition of the entire 2K series, all compressed into one jam-packed product.

Aside from the Showcase…of the Immortals campaign, 2K24 will also feature the return of MyRISE—a two-for-one single-player campaign that’ll allow players to create their own wrestlers, and with them, conquer the medium and establish a name for themselves. There’ll be 二 campaigns to embark on, too: Undisputed, and Unleashed, both of which will feature entirely separate rosters and challenges.

“Featuring Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Mick Foley and others performing MyRISE voiceover for the first time, alongside other Superstars and Legends, expanded rewards, original MyRISE characters and unlockables carrying-over into other game modes, and new environments, MyRISE is more impactful on the overall WWE 2K experience than ever before.”

In addition to MyRISE, 2K24 will also feature MyGM, a “brand management sim” in which players will have the opportunity to build their own teams and navigate a series of Dramas, Championships, and other contracts. What’s more, it’ll also include “Superstar Journey”—a secondary event in which wrestlers will have to earn XP in order to develop their skills and prominence in the industry.

MyFACTION is also returning to the latest installment—a team-building mode in which players must harness the power of 四 fighters from the WWE Superstars and Legends rosters and thrash it out to secure a spot at the apex of their chosen guild.

“Players can now compete in ranked online QuickPlay with unique rewards and seasonal leaderboards, challenge themselves with Weekly Towers, and take on a revamped Faction Wars 2.0, featuring more real-world factions, more 4v4 match types, a Faction Wars specific reward shop and more.”

As far as gameplay modes travel, 2K24 will adopt all of the traditional modes, and 四 new ones: Special Guest Referee, Ambulance Match, Casket Match, and Gauntlet Match. “In addition, the Backstage Brawl now features four-player support and new interactive environmental elements—including a working elevator, breakable control room glass, and a vending machine with throwable sodas—while the Royal Rumble now offers support for eight online players in 30-Superstar online matches.”

WWE 2K24的 is currently set to launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on March 8, 2024. As for whether or not it’ll launch on Nintendo Switch is still unclear, though honestly, it seems unlikely at this point, given the series’ lack of support for the handheld device over the years.
