Despite Tweet Claiming It’s Resolved, Xbox Players Still Can’t Access Elden Ring Online

Updated on

The spotlight is on FromSoftware and their newest release Elden Ring after poor performance reports from users upon launch. With the PC community already upset, FromSoftware is now getting more angry gamers from the Xbox community. However, this time the spotlight is on the game's developers for Elden Ring online.

Xbox players are reporting a network error message when trying to play Elden Ring online. For many Xbox players, online multiplayer has been inaccessible since first launching the game. A ton of players have taken to various social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit to make the game's developers aware of this issue.

The game's publisher Bandai Namco has reported that these issues were being looked into throughout the day but never followed up.

Well, if reaching out to the devs wasn't enough, the community also bombarded Larry Hryb's Twitter about the issue. Those efforts seemed to have paid off as just three hours ago the Xbox live icon tweeted that the online issues were resolved. Well, it appears this may have worked for some, a good majority are still facing the issue.

The online mode is a fun feature for the open-world RPG that lets The Tarnished match up with friends and invade other players. Or you could come to give your friend a helping hand with many of the difficult bosses that claim home to The Lands Between.  Regardless it is an important aspect of the game that Xbox players are currently not able to enjoy.

This only marks more bad news laying ahead for FromSoftware. It hasn't even been 48 hours since its release and somehow each platform has all managed to have its own problems. This can't be a good first look for the game that came out swinging as the highest-reviewed game of all time.
