Another round of Xbox Game Pass titles are up against the chopping this December, with one of Square Enix's most celebrated action RPGs fronting the pack.

It's usually around this time of the month where Xbox announces its next batch of games that will be exciting the subscription-based Game Pass platform. This month, we'll be seeing the removal of 11 games on December 15th, starting with Square Enix's Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. Unfortunately, this won't be the only thing to depart the catalog on the 15th. Here's what else you'll be losing access to on the same day:

  • Aliens: Fireteam Elite (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Breathedge (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Firewatch (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Lake (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Neoverse (Cloud and Console)
  • Race with Ryan (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Rory McIlroy PGA Tour (Console)
  • Transformers: Battlegrounds (Cloud, Console, and PC)

Why Do Games Leave Game Pass?

Usually, Xbox will remove games that aren't performing all that well compared to other popular titles, hence the reason to free up space and allow other games to flesh out its library. In this instance, it appears the famed Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age caught the short end of the stick. And as for the others, well, we'll let you decide whether Xbox has made the right call or not.

Whatever the case, you've just of two weeks to mop up any leftover achievements before a portion of the slate is wiped clean. For more updates on the Game Pass front, you can check in with the official social feed here.
