Xbox and Bethesda Announce Games Showcase

Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase will stream live on Sunday, June 12, 2022

Even if E3 2022 has been canceled, at least we still have the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase to look forward to. Xbox announced the event today on its blog and that the stream will be available on Xbox's Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, and even TikTok. Aside from that, the two companies didn't reveal too much.

Xbox said it will showcase “amazing titles coming from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our partners around the world.”. The post also says that the event will “include everything you need to know about the diverse lineup of games coming soon to the Xbox ecosystem.”. This includes upcoming releases to Game Pass, which hopefully is revealing some big-name titles for the service. What you can count on are a few other big-name titles that will undoubtedly be showcased.

What to Expect from the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase

With so little information on what games are being revealed, players are looking for clues. One possible hint is staring right in our face, with the teaser art. Which, depicts the Xbox logo floating amid the stars, this could be hinting at Starfield, the widely anticipated sci-fi RPG. Starfield's release date stole the show during last year's Games Showcase, so you can expect it to again this time around.

Aside from Starfield, there's a good chance you can expect to see news on Arkane's Redfall and Undead Labs' State of Decay 4. Aside from updates on these games, hopefully, the event will also reveal new titles to look forward to in 2023.
