What’s Chrome and How to Use it?
Chrome is the new highlight of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 Paradise. The new material is now available as a throwable “Chrome Splash” loot item, and it has several uses. First, you can throw it at any structure, regardless of its material, and the chrome will make any wall or surface passable. Meaning, you can phase through any surface you throw it at. But you can also use it to chrome-ify yourself.
When you chrome-ify yourself, you’ll be immune to fire damage, and can become a blob of chrome while sprinting. But that’s not all, not only can you move faster, but you’re immune to fall damage and get the ability to air dash. Which you can use to dash into any surface, which will chrome-ify it, letting you phase through it. So, based on that, it’s safe to say you’ll be a force to be reckoned with when you chrome yourself.
Lastly, chrome has also tampered with a couple of weapons, making for the new EvoChrome Shotgun and the EvoChrome Burst Rifle. These can be found in chrome chests, and the more damage you do with them, the more their rarity increases. All the way from uncommon, to mythic. Aside from that, it’s just a matter of getting your hands on the new Chrome Splash and EvoChrome weapons, to test them out yourself.
