Terraforming, exploring, and crafting, are mechanics mixed in the single-player survival/adventure, Ankora: Lost Days. Some of you may know Ankora: Lost Days (developed and soon to be published by Chibig) for having a Kickstarter campaign. This is a hand-painted and carefully designed tale about growing up, connecting with nature, and relying on others to accomplish challenges. While the release date of this game is expected in 2022, it should be available on the following platforms: PS4 (Playstation 4), PS5 (Playstation 5), Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows.

Ankora: Lost Days is the story before the events of Deiland: Pocket Planet and Summer in Mara. Mûn is a Junior Ranger from the Interstellar Patrol and after her spaceship crashed, she had to make an emergency landing on Ankora (an unknown planet). She is stranded, but not hopeless on her journey. Ankora has extreme temperatures like blazing heat, rain, and the freezing cold. Overcome obstacles like lakes, rivers, waterfalls, mountains, many monsters, and level jumps. Make your own path with Mûn in the game.

All of the species in Ankora will not try to brutalize you. Some of creatures are light-hearted and peaceful, organized in different tribes. They are somewhat like regular humans, being artisans, hunters, traders, fishers, etc.

Chief Koda:

Chief Koda is the Chief of all chiefs in Ankora, being the wisest among the Anks. He is so wise that he is revered by the three wisest Anks. After being taught by Chief Koda, Mûn will learn how to navigate around Ankora and get to know the inhabitants.

When Kange (an ambitious Ank) started a war among the Anks, Koda courageously fought and defeated him. He guided the Anks ever since the war and because he is elderly, he awaits for the next Ank to lead the tribes.

The Three Wisest Anks:

There are three different temples and each of them pay respects to the elements: Fire, Life, and Ice. These temples are guarded by the tribe chieftains of the Anks: Adahy, Nidawi, and Wahkan.

Hute and Umi:

Hute and Umi are two Ank childs found in Deiland. Eventually, they will become best friends with Mûn.

Kange:

Kange has the objective to snatch the power lying in Ankora and subdue all of the Anks tribes, reaching full potential of their race.

Biomes:

There are 6 different biomes in Ankora: Lost Days and some of them are meadow, forest, desert, and snow mountains. Also, there are over 100 map levels to explore with secret locations to uncover. Mûn collects a quantity of objects for her backpack like surviving tools, resources, and food and special items.

The Key Features of Ankora: Lost Days:

  • Mûn can craft her own tools to collect necessary resources for her journey. Play at your own pace, being fascinated by the smallest details.
  • Learn new recipes and skills to improve your chances of survival and level up with each action
  • The visuals are inspired by the Studio Ghibli films (like Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind). It is a modern setting in a fantasy universe. The game is also inspired by the exploration in Zelda: Link’s Awakening and the aesthetics in Where the Wild Things Are
  • Use a shovel to dig and modify the terrain, hammer to build structures, and other tools to collect resources from the planet. Use the bow and spike, surviving dangers in Ankora, as well as biomes.

Music:

The soundtrack is composed by (independent musicians you may know from Deiland and Summer in Mara) Adrian Berenguer and Paco Mitos.

Languages:

English, Spanish, French, German, and Valencian
