Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown Is An Exclusive Remake For PS4
We have some good news and bad news. Starting with the good news, the 3D “Virtua Fighter” is returning with a “PS4 (Playstation 4)” digital exclusive. On June 1, “SEGA” is releasing a new version of the arcade fighting game series, “Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown.” The bad news is that we do not have our hands on this video game already.
If you have a good memory or simply constantly research fighting games, you may notice that the original version of “Virtua Fighter 5” was released back in July 12, 2006. How much more excited can we get for a video game that is releasing super soon? Maybe you have the answer to that.
Back in September, during a “Tokyo Game Show” livestream, was when the “Virtua Fighter 5” project was announced. “SEGA” is calling the project a “Virtua Fighter x esports.” According to the project’s website, it reads, that the game “will be restarted as an esports title to commemorate the 60th anniversary of SEGA’s establishment.”
Gameplay:
The Playstation 4 version will feature tournament options, new background music for each stage, updated visuals new online features (including a spectator mode), and lobbies for up to 16 players. With alluring HD graphics, choose the character you love the most, master your fighting style, and use your bone-crunching martial arts to prove you are the greatest fighter in the world.
Some characters from the “Virtua Fighter” series crossed over to “Dead or Alive 5”: Sarah Bryant, Akira Yuki, and Pai Chan. Us, fighting game lovers are excited about the returning characters: Sarah Bryant, Akira Yuki, Pai Chan, Jeffry McWild, Wolf Hawkfield, Lau Chan, Kage-Maru, Shun Di, Jacky Bryant, Lion Rafale, Lei Fei, Aoi Umenokoji, Brad Burns, Vanessa Lewis, Dural, and Goh Hinogami. Here is a list of the up to date characters: Eileen, El Blaze, Taka-Arashi (for ‘Virtua Fighter 5 R/ Final Showdown/Ultimate Showdown’ only) and Jean Kujo (for ‘Virtua Fighter 5 R/ Final Showdown/Ultimate Showdown’ only).
