Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy Coming to Xbox

With Crystal Dynamics celebrating Lara Croft and her 25th anniversary in the gaming sphere, it’s looking like Tomb Raider will be getting a rather hefty spotlight this year. Of course, there’s already been a spool of interviews with both Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics since 2020, and the two factions have both promised a lot for fans of the franchise. From exclusive livestreams to promotional concept art — Lara and her band of followers will be representing in full form over 2021, and we’re seriously excited for it.

To kickstart March, the Square Enix trilogy has been dropped on the Microsoft Store with a slated date of March 18th. While not sharing anything on the PlayStation front just yet, it’s looking as though Tomb Raider will be bundling up and coming to Xbox. Sadly, they’re not looking like full replacements with next-gen updates — but more of a repackage with minor tweaks for Xbox Series X/S users. Still, we can’t fault a good bundle.

Community Update: Tomb Raider 25 Year Celebration

Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy will include Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. Plus, a few hidden surprises could be tucked away within the bundle, seeing as this is a fully-fledged trilogy with all the bells and whistles. But don’t take our word on that. We’re just going off of what previous trilogies have gifted us.

“Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy is the complete edition of the award-winning Tomb Raider origin games,” the store listing reads. “With all the definitive edition content from each game, this Trilogy promises dozens of hours of breathtaking exploration, challenging puzzle-solving, and survival combat with Lara as she becomes the Tomb Raider she was destined to become.”

Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy will release on March 18th on Xbox.
