Valve's powerful handheld gaming PC, a.k.a. the Steam Deck, is hot in the gaming community. Since its release on Feb 25, Steam Deck witnessed huge demand and Valve has been trying to match it with more supply. Even with all these hurdles, Valve has managed to keep its promise that the console won't run out of playable games.

Last month, the handheld console had over a thousand playable titles. And now, Valve has managed to double those digits. Steam Deck users can now play more than 2,000 games on their new PC. Verified titles are the ones that are play-tested numerous times and made available to users after ensuring that they run smoothly.

Out of those 2,000 playable titles, only 1000 are playable. The rest 1000 remain unsupported as of now. Players cannot run the unsupported titles at the moment. But of course, the developers have plans to get them running very soon.

In March this year, The Witcher 3 made its way to the Steam Deck. Considering that the game is heavy on the visuals, it is no small achievement for the handheld PC to be able to run it. Players can play The Witcher 3 on Steam Deck at 800p ultra preset. If Valve keeps introducing titles like The Witcher 3 on the Deck, then the demand is unlikely to die down anytime soon.

Recently, Valve also rolled out drivers for Windows 10. Windows 11 will also be made available to Deck users quite soon. Players could then use the latest Windows version on the Steam Deck.

On the same note, Valve has hinted that it would soon roll out the handheld PC in more countries. To meet the existing high demand, they have already ramped up their production. Interested users can pre-order the Deck to get their PC as soon as it becomes available.
