Square Enix, Sega and More Join E3 2021

With just five weeks to go until E3 take their annual gaming showcase to the digital skies, the big guns are finally being revealed for the show roster.

Having already stapled the likes of Nintendo, Xbox, Take-Two, Capcom, Warner Bros. and Ubisoft to the convention, the 2021 line-up is beginning to take form and excite the multi-million player base that are scratching days off the calendar in anticipation of the big day. And now, thanks to E3's not-so discreet Tweet, a few more celebrated names have been announced for the June show.

Dropping in to E3 2021 is Square Enix, Bandai Namco, Sega, Gearbox Entertainment — and plenty more that will help bulk out the presentation. Of course, let's not forget the elephant in the room here — and that's Sony being absent from the line-up this year. Well, as per the gaming giants rather stubborn agenda, it's unlikely that we'll be seeing any games pop up from their corner next month. Having said that, it's most definitely plausible that Sony will be hosting their own show in the near future.

As well as Sony taking a backseat from E3 2021, Electronic Arts are also refusing to let any details slip over their working titles. And so, with that, fans of both factions will have to settle for whatever E3 has left in store. With all of that in mind, we'll be keeping our ear to the ground should either Sony or EA drop any updates on their upcoming projects.

E3 2021 will take place between June 12th and June 15 2021. You can watch the show from the comfort of your own home via YouTube, Twitch and the E3 official portal. In the meantime, you can check in on the updates through Twitter.

In light of Covid-19, E3 will be going digital again this year.
