Sony Are Offering 10 Free PlayStation Games This Month
It's true, we've all suffered these past twelve months with the global pandemic tampering with our daily lives. Thankfully, for gamers, Sony made the promise to shed a little light on the situation with their Play at Home 2021 plan. As part of the initiative, PlayStation players are able to add a stream of games to their libraries with zero strings attached. And, what's more, is that it all starts in just a few short days.
Over the course of March and April, users will be able to get their hands on 10 unique titles for free. That's right — for free. That means that you won't be needing a PlayStation Plus or Now subscription plan in order to bag the bundle. And, from the looks of the roster of downloadable games — that's looking like quite the generous offer on Sony's part.
So, what can we expect? Well, here are the 10 PlayStation games you'll be able to snag over the coming weeks:
25th March
ABZU
Enter the Gungeon
Rez Infinite
Subnautica
The Witness
Astro Bot Rescue Mission
Moss
Thumper
Paper Beast
19th April
Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition
Of course, the biggest drop here is the surprising Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition, which went on to win multiple awards over its first two years on the shelves. Though, it definitely seems to be the best way to plug the upcoming sequel, Forbidden West, which is due to launch later this year. Plus, it gives players who missed the open-world hit a chance to catch up on Aloy's enormous journey before sinking some hours into the 2021 entry.
All in all, this seems like a fantastic way for gamers to kill some time over a truly awful season. Sony has handed us the keys to a batch of great games out of the kindness of their hearts, and we're more than happy to unlock a few doors in return. What more can we want?
You can download the above games on PlayStation 4/5 for free up until April 22nd. Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition will be available up until May 14th.
