Shaolin Is A New Wu-Tang Clan RPG For Xbox
Xbox will be featuring a Wu-Tang Clan themed RPG (role-playing game). Wu-Tang Clan’s original members (formed in Staten Island, New York City) helping to popularize East Coast hip hop and hardcore hip hop styles include RZA, Ghostface Killah, GZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Raekwon, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and U-God. Cappadonna later became a member of the Will-Tang Clan.
The project is reportedly called Shaolin, where the Wu-Tang Clan may also produce their own official soundtrack for the game. Spoiler alert: Shaolin is not a sequel to Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style (released as Remember Wu-Tang: Taste the Pain in 1999). The Def Jam series with the Wu-Tang Clan gives you the ability to perform wrestling moves on your opponents. With no release date for the upcoming Shaolin, eventually, we should be updated on the process of the game.
Jez Corden (Windows Central reporter) reported that Brass Lion Entertainment is currently handling the Wu-Tang Clan project, in partnership with Xbox Global Publishing. Since Shaolin is back by Microsoft, perhaps it will be a PC game as well.
The rumor is that Shaolin will use third-person melee mechanics and season-based content drops. Shaolin will feature dungeons where players can pick up weapons, gear, and loot. There may be the a multiplayer elements for a 4-player co-operative gameplay.
An Added Character in Multiversus:
The upcoming Super Smash Bros. style fighting game (also inspired by Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl), Multiversus, may feature Lebron James as a playable character. There is a rumor that the game may be free-to-play, but as always, we have to wait and see if money is involved. Besides the possible Lebron James character, so far, there are confirmed characters (like Shaggy, Gandalf, Batman, Tom and Jerry, Johnny Bravo, and more).
What Else?:
Another rumor is that Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck will be playable characters for Multiversus.
