As part of Sony's “Play at Home 2021” scheme, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition has been uploaded to the dashboard for all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users to download from today. And what's more — it's completely free to play. That means that you won't need either a PS Plus or PS Now subscription in order to add the bundle to your basket. I know, right? It seems strange to not have any strings attached — especially for a game of this high-calibre.

Following on from the spool of free games that came to the scheme last month, Sony has finalized the closing chapter with one of the best games yet. Horizon Zero Dawn, which released back in 2017 on PS4, went on to receive several awards for its well-mapped narrative, art design and originality. And now, due to the high demand and mounds of eager players hungering for another dosage, Guerrilla Games are just about tying the knots on the Forbidden West sequel, which is due to arrive later this year.

What can you expect from Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition?

On top of the base game, you'll also be pleased to know that The Frozen Wilds DLC is always nested within the bundle. And then, of course, you can expect to see an ocean of additional outfits, weapons, and even a digital art book to peel over. All in all, the whole collection is enough to keep you ticking over for weeks on end. Having said that, you will only have until May 14th to snag the set. Once downloaded, however, you'll be free to keep it as long as you please.

Besides Horizon Zero Dawn making its way to the Play at Home scheme, Sony has also served up another nine downloadable titles. However, you'll only have until tomorrow (22nd) to add them to your library before they go dark. So, what are you waiting for? You've got free games to play, PS fans!
