Running With Scissors' Postal 4: No Regerts is the worst game of 2022, with a Metacritic score of just 30.

In a bid to keep the incredibly controversial first-person shooter saga alive, developer Running With Scissors published a third entry to the Postal series in late 2022, content in the high hopes that its cult-classic status would give it a platform to stand on. As it turned out, though, both fans of the franchise and eagle-eyed critics didn't think along the same lines, as its overall rating wound up being an underwhelming 30 out of 100.

POSTAL 4: No Regerts is a satirical and outrageous comedic open world first person shooter and the long-awaited true sequel to what’s been fondly dubbed as “The Worst Game Ever™”, POSTAL 2!” the Steam listing reads.

Has Postal 4: No Regerts Put the Nail in the Coffin for Running With Scissors?

For those who don't know, the original Postal and its sequel launched back in 2003, nearly two decades prior to the release of Postal 4: No Regerts. Its theme, which lingered between the lines of being moronic and downright vile, wound up receiving heaps of harsh criticism and a number of bannings around the world. In light of this, Running With Scissors' questionable masterpiece somehow went on to garner a cult-like following, with many fans going on to badger the developer for a sequel.

Anyway, the sequel finally came knocking, only to a much worse reception than its creators probably would've liked. Question is, will this give Running With Scissors a hint, or will it give them the motivation to strike back with a fourth?
