Pokemon Presents Livestream Announced for This Week

The Pokemon company has announced that it will host a Pokemon Presents later this week.

According to the announcement, the livestream will feature news and updates on various Pokemon apps. The presentation will also showcase this year's major releases, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

The company revealed the news on its official Twitter channel. The Pokemon Presents will air on August 3 at 6 AM PT. The 20-minute episode will be live on the company’s YouTube channel.

We could also learn more about the two mobile games, Pokémon Unite and Pokémon Go, that we've been waiting for. There is a possibility that we could get more about the status of the long-awaited title, Pokémon Sleep. Other possible topics could be Pokemon TCG Live and DLC for Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

However, it seems Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will be the show stoppers. Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have not revealed much information about upcoming Pokemon titles. The company revealed the two games in February. The developer has only released two trailers that did not reveal many details.

The debut trailer featured the game's three new starter Pokémon, now referred to as “Partner Pokémon.” Sprigatito is a grass-type cat Pokémon, Fue Coco is a fire-type crocodile, and Quaxly is a water-type duckling. The most recent trailer revealed the two new legendary Pokémon. Koraidon will be exclusively on Scarlet, while Miraodon will be exclusive to Violet.

The two games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, will be free to play and include enhanced multiplayer capabilities. However, we have no details of what new battle mechanics or tricks will be included in these games. We expect to have details on the gameplay soon.

Game Launch

The games will launch on the Nintendo Switch on November 18.
