PlayStation Plus August 2022 Games Leaked Early

PlayStation Plus subscribers are set to receive their next batch of freebies in just a few short days. But what's in store this August, and are the upcoming games worth the price of admission?

It's no major surprise, seeing PlayStation Plus‘ monthly games leak online a few days before their usual announcement. This has been the case for as long as we can remember, and August — surprise, suprise — is no different. And if what a reputable leaker is saying is true, then it could mean that subscribers to the platform are in for a few treats this coming month.

According to Dealabs, users will get three games on August 2nd, which will then be available to download and add to their libraries up until September 6th. The games in question are Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Little Nightmares, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2. Going by the PlayStation Store, this bundle will save subscribers a nifty amount, to the point of making the PlayStation Plus cost of $9.99 seen like a pittance.

Still…

Of course, a leak is a leak, and there's always a slight chance that things won't go the way their makers had originally planned. But seeing as we're closing in on the end of July, it's likely PlayStation will make the formal announcement over the coming days, anyway.

At the time of writing, subscribers can pick up Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, and Arcadegeddon. These three games will be available to download up until August 1st. You can pick up your monthly subscription to PlayStation Plus for as little as $9.99 a month.

So, what's your take? Will you be picking up any of the above three this August? Let us know over on our socials here or down in the comments below.
