PlayStation Now Leak Reveals Biggest RPG Game for June 2021

Updated on

June is upon us, which can only mean one thing: another round of PlayStation Now titles are en route. Of course, Sony usually prefers to hang fire until the first few days before making the monthly announcement and clockwork upload to the platform. That being said, a new leak has just sprouted from Reddit, indicating a rather tasty spindle of new entries will be coming to the service for June.

Other than finding three new Sonic titles plastered on the front page, all of which haven't touched the PlayStation Now platform since its 2014 rollout — another major title has also popped out of the blue. And being one of the best-selling RPG titles to ever grace the PlayStation 4, it didn't take long before people flocked to the leak to see it for themselves. Of course, it's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt we're talking about. Oh, and the Game of the Year edition at that.

Witcher 3 GOTY added to PS Now? Might be a bug but this appeared yesterday for me (couldn't play ir for free) from PlayStationNow

Has Sony made a slight hiccup?

Spotted by Reddit user ‘u/jcsce', The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt along with its critically acclaimed DLC was clocked on their PlayStation 5 only recently. Mind you, Sony hasn't made an official announcement as to what games will land in June yet. Though, from looking at the early leak — it seems as though the beans have already been well and truly spilt. Never mind, eh?

Being the GOTY edition, fans will be able to soak up both the Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine expansions, which tallies up the overall storytelling time to 150+ hours. Stacking on top of that is, of course, various weapons, collectables and even a spool of new Gwent cards to play with. So, quite the nifty collection of goodies for an incredibly small price to pay. But we'll see what happens over the next few days. Mistake or not — we're putting our money on this being a legitimate offer.

You can purchase a monthly subscription to PlayStation Now for $9.99.
