PlayStation Now April 2022 Update Adds Four PS4 Games

PlayStation Now subscribers will soon have access to four new PS4 games, which will become permanent fixtures on the streaming platform for the foreseeable future.

Starting from tomorrow (April 5, 2022), those enrolled in Sony's PlayStation Now service will be able to pick up, stream, and download a wheel of new titles. Included in the monthly update is Journey to the Savage Planet, WRC 10, Outer Wilds, and Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood.

PlayStation Now, of course, is set to merge with PlayStation Plus this June. Therefore, you should enjoy the perks of the streaming service while you still can. Because come June, users will have to pay top dollar to enjoy the luxuries from both platforms combined.

PlayStation Plus is due for an upgrade

As of this moment, you can subscribe to PlayStation Now for $9.99, which includes access to over 400 PS3, PS4, and PS5 titles. But come June, the service will take a further step up, and employ three new tiers: PlayStation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra, and PlayStation Plus Premium.

Depending on your chosen tier, you will have access to up to 700 games from all generations of Sony's beloved console. As well as this, you'll also benefit from all the usual perks that come bundled with PlayStation Now, including all of the online functionalities.

Anyway, the wheels are definitely in motion. PlayStation Plus, at long last, will receive a well-deserved overhaul. And with that, we can all go ahead and assume plenty of great things will follow suit for the second half of the year. Or at least, that's what we're crossing our fingers for.

So, what's your take? Are you excited to see Sony revamp PlayStation Plus later this year? Will you be renewing your PlayStation Now subscription for April? Let us know over on our socials here or down in the comments below.
