Nintendo Direct September 2021: All Announcements

Updated on

The gaming world sparkled red and white this evening, casting light on stacks of games as part of the upcoming Switch library. Nintendo Direct, while sticking to its forty-minute online set, was able to spare a few juicy details on what's to come, what's falling behind — and what's on the brink of finding ground on the global market. And boy — it's looking heavy.

Similar to the previous showcase, Nintendo made sure to keep streamers invested through a giant spool of announcements, trailers and the odd release date to ice the enormous platter of cakes served up. But what was announced this evening? Is there something you missed? Are you just looking for a recap with all the major key points from the event? Well, say no more — because we've got you covered. Here's what was announced at Nintendo Direct September 2021.

Well, that's pretty much everything Nintendo had to show during today's event. As predicted, the Switch will receive quite the selection of games over 2022, with some heavy titles even rolling out over the coming weeks. But as far as official showcases go — Nintendo has yet to announce anything else for 2021. So, take from this what you will. Either way, we're pretty excited to see what comes next for the red and white division.

So, what are you looking forward to seeing over the coming months? Was there something you hoped to see during Nintendo Direct? Let us know over on our socials here. Or if you're sticking around, you can join the Nintendo Direct discussion here.
