A new Silent Hill teaser trailer has leaked online, prompting fans to question the future of Konami's survival horror poster child.
Say, what ever happened to Konami's Silent Hills? Well, as it turns out, the survival horror chapter could be revived in the near future. At least, that's according to various inside sources, many of whom have shed light on details highlighting the game's potential return. And now, believe it or not, a teaser trailer has popped up out of the blue.
Of course, with no word from Konami, it's hard to buy in to the leak. At present, it's more speculation than concrete data, though the content it does reveal is convincing enough to onboard a few eager eyes. And if it is a fake, then it's a pretty good one.

So, what's happening next week?
Anyway, according to one particular Twitter thread, a new Silent Hill game will be revealed on July 12. That's pretty soon, especially with Konami not having any events scheduled for the coming weeks. So, it's probably best to take this one with a grain of salt.
That being said, rumors about a Silent Hill reboot have been floating about for quite some time now. In fact, ever since Kojima canned the project back in 2015, it's pretty much all fans of the series have been talking about. And so, Konami knows all too well how much hype surrounds the IP, as does Kojima and the devs involved in its creation. Therefore, it's mainly a question of when will it arrive, rather than will it ever. Either way, we're psyched to see what comes of this leak on July 12.
