Gotham Knights trailer Nightwing and Red Hood Gameplay

WB Games has released the first official gameplay for Gotham Knights, which features Nightwing and Red Hood as playable characters.

Geoff Ellenor, the game director, narrated a complete walkthrough of the game in the breakdown that debuted today (May 10). The 13-minute  Gotham Knights trailer  breakdsown features Nightwing and the Red Hood, two of the four playable Bat-family characters in Gotham Knights

The developer used Gotham City's open-world environment to demonstrate how players can use each hero's unique fighting style and traversal abilities to go about the crime-ridden city.

The video showcased acrobatic melee assaults by Nightwing and Red Hood's strong leaping and dual-wielding weaponry. We see the game's investigation part as the two heroes seek clues to the Court of Owls conspiracy. The Court of Owls is a recent addition to the Batman canon that Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo created in their famous 2011 Batman run.

The new gameplay footage gives fans a more in-depth look at Dick Grayson and Jason Todd as they patrol the streets of Gotham and take down a variety of criminals. The video showcases Nightwing's acrobatic skills and Red Hood's deadly effectiveness with dual pistols, as are their unique combat talents. Furthermore, the trailer showed how the two heroes would move throughout Gotham. Nightwing will use a glider while Red Hood leaps from rooftops.

In addition, the director demonstrated how Nightwing and Red Hood could cooperate in battle by displaying how co-op works. Each hero's distinctive ultimate-like ability will progressively fill as fighting progresses, allowing players to unleash a devastating takedown attack.

Gotham Knights Launch Date

Gotham Knights will launch on The PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox X|S on October 25. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game have been canceled.

According to the developer, this is “to give players the best possible gameplay experience,” these two versions were axed.”
