Fortnite has collaborated twice with iconic Marvel characters. Both times, the collaboration proved to be a hit and players got to keep some super cool skins. Once again, Marvel is pairing up with Fortnite. However, this time, it will be for an action-packed comic mini-series.

Christos Gage, the popular writer for Marvel, is teaming up with Donald Mustard, the Chief Creative Officer at Epic Games for the comic series. Sergio Davila, the popular artist, will illustrate the story. These experts will come together for a five-part series.

The upcoming comic books will feature Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Shuri. Of course, we will get to see them teaming up with popular Fortnite characters.

The plot starts with a war that does not seem to have a foreseeable end. To put an end to the battle, the superheroes must get a crystallized piece of Zero Point. This Zero Shard was cast into the Marvel Universe. To retrieve it, Fortnite characters and Marvel heroes join hands and embark on an adventure full of action.

That's not all. The comics have something special in store for Fortnite players. Each book will have a code that can be redeemed for an in-game cosmetic item. Players can subscribe to Marvel Unlimited and grab more rewards. As a limited-time reward, fans who read all five books will unlock an additional Fortnite cosmetic.

The comic mini-series, titled ‘FORTNITE X MARVEL: ZERO WAR' will be issued starting from June 2022. The comics would be released globally and translations would be available. Once all five books are rolled out, they will be available on the app's store.

People can redeem the free cosmetic items through the first prints of the book. Others can grab the cosmetic items through the in-game store a week after the comic releases.
