There is nothing quite like the epic feeling of being immersed in fear underwater, where there is no telling when a creature is coming your way. The ocean is so deep that many parts are undiscovered, leaving room for more sharks. We have seen this video game surface across the internet. “Maneater” is already on “PS4 (PlayStation 4),” “Xbox One,” “Xbox Series X/S,” and “PC.” Something else to take notice is on May 25, 2021, “Maneater” is swimming to “Nintendo Switch.”
Developer and publisher “Tripwire Interactive” and co-publishing partner “Deep Silver” brings to you the world’s first action-RPG (role-playing game), where you play as a shark through a full, narrative story. “Maneater” is narrated by Chris Parnell (from ‘Saturday Night Live,’ ‘Rick and Morty,’ and ‘30 Rock’). This time, you do not have to fear the shark because you are the shark. That should prevent you from fearing those large, aggressive creatures.
Evolve your way to the top of the food chain while eating and exploring the deep waters in Port Clovis. You are the apex predator (also known as the alpha predator or top predator) that many humans fear. Galeophobia is an abnormally large, excessive and persistent fear of sharks. You can upgrade the bull shark into different modifications to make you a better eater (like a bone or bioelectric upgrade).
You get to pretend like you are in a Jaws movie and you are a force to be reckoned with. Eat your way up the ecosystem and the humans and fish in your path should think twice. Teach those town drunks a lesson they will never forget. Better yet, pretend like you are attacking real people, or wherever else your imagination goes. This is a single-player, open world game where you start as a bull shark.
The bull shark is known as the Zambezi shark in Africa and the Lake Nicaragua shark in Nicaragua, but in “Maneater,” on the fictional gulf coast city of Port Clovis, this shark exists. Swim through the main story, pass many missions in different regions, and locate collectibles (like ‘Nutrient Crates,’ ‘License Plates,’ and ‘Landmarks.’ Some of the regions are called “Dead Horse Lake,” “Prosperity Sands,” “and “The Gulf.” Travel to 7 large regions, including industrial docks, resort beaches, and the open ocean.
