5. Borderlands 3

Borderlands 3 - Official Cinematic Launch Trailer

Before: $59.99

Now: $8.99

Price cut: 85%

How wild has the ride been since Borderlands first appeared on our screens? I mean, this shooter-looter series is slowly but surely gaining a reputation as a solid franchise. Since the first Borderlands game was released in 2009, fans have been on the edge of their seats waiting for the next adventure and devouring it as soon as it hits the market.

There’s even been a spin-off series, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep and Tiny Tina's  Wonderlands, that have been doing the same thing, riling up a crowd like it's nothing. Each of these games follows the franchise's recipe to the letter. From missions to gunplay, driving, management, and humor, each gameplay element feels uniquely Borderlands, so much so that it feels second nature to want to grab the next copy as soon as it's available.

With a price cut of 85%, which is one of the highest price cuts available, it’s no longer a question of “if” to check out Borderlands 3, but “when.” There's just no better time to jump on the Borderlands bandwagon than now. Rest assured, every element remains true, with the weapons, goofier, the battles, trickier, and gameplay, like fast travel, back into play. And in no time, the game starts to feel as if the mayhem-fueled adventure from so long ago never left your side. Check out the offer here.

4. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition: Launch Trailer | Ubisoft [NA]

Before: $14.99

Now: $4.95

Price cut: 67%

Side-scrolling beat ”'em-up games remain far from going out of style, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is a pretty good example of that. Compared to more recent games like Streets of Rage 4 and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game falls a little short in depth. However, it is still a crunchy brawler featuring beautiful pixel art and a great soundtrack.

So, if you’re feeling reminiscent of the two-dimensional arcade-style beat ‘em ups or are a fan of the award-winning graphic novels and iconic film, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, this game is a decent, faithful way to kick off your shoes after a day’s work and just let loose. You can check it out here.

3. Marvel's Midnight Suns

Marvel's Midnight Suns | Official Launch Trailer

Before: $59.99

Now: $40.19

Price cut: 33%

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a youngblood entry into the gaming world, having only spent a few weeks in the market, which is great because you can now catch up to speed with the newest superhero game in town.

While it’s true there have been possibly more than a ton of superhero games on the market, not to mention Marvel adaptations with only a subtle tweak to the original comics, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is one of the few games that dares to stand out from the crowd.

Take turns playing this turn-based hero combat system game that may take a little time to get used to. However, once the main card game mechanics have sunk in, it becomes second nature to play. There might be a lot less evil variety than you’d expect, but the brilliant tactical RPG system quickly takes away any moments that feel rushed. Click here to buy.

2. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – Official Launch Trailer

Before: $59.99

Now: $29.99

Price cut: 50%

Borderlands’ cousin started off as Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. It garnered so much traction that a new sequel was released called Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. These fantasy-themed tabletop RPG games are so good that they need a quick breather to soak it in before going at it again.

From rib-cracking writing to exceptional casting to in-depth customization, all giving Borderlands 3 a run for its money, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is quickly becoming a sensational quirky looter shooter pastime that everyone should try.

The only difference is that it doesn’t reinvent the Borderlands wheel or pretend to try. So having just completed Borderlands 3 should give you a pretty good head start. Check out the offer here.

1. Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight | Launch Trailer

Before: $19.99

Now: $6.99

Price cut: 65%

In a time when you feel rejuvenated and ready to conquer the gaming world afresh, Dead by Daylight might just be the hidden gem you’re looking for. This game is curated for strong-willed minds wanting to team up across a thrilling multiplayer experience.

Having taken the asymmetrical gameplay system and woven it around a paranoia-filled murky adventure, Dead by Daylight asserts itself as one of the best horror games around. As one of four survivors, you’ll need to evade a serial killer wanting to sacrifice you to the entity. But you can also become a serial killer also for those gravitating towards the thrill of the hunt.

Cat and mouse barely begin to describe the panic mode Dead by Daylight induces as ultimate death seemingly stares at you through the looking glass. Will you team up with the survivors, go at it alone, or get into savage mode and prepare for a killer feast? Check the game out here.
