PlayStation’s State of Play Event:
Did you feel like you discovered a life hack once you heard that Sony announced PlayStation’s State of Play Event? This event will take place next week (on Wednesday, October 27 at 2:00 P.M. PT), featuring approximately 20 minutes of game announcements. PlayStation’s State of Play will be broadcasted on both, YouTube and Twitch and will focus on third-party PS4 and PS5 upcoming games.
Among Us:
On December 14, the multiplayer social deduction game, Among Us, will be launching on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Traverse through space on a spaceship. Fear not, even though some of your crew mates can be imposters on board. Find the liars before they murder you. Maybe you prefer to be the liar.
Crossplay:
4-15 player lobbies are supported with online multiplayer.
Netflix:
Netflix wants to turn shows like Squid Game into video games. Last month, Netflix’s first gaming studio purchase is Night School Studio, (best known for its debut game, Oxenfree), following the company’s announcement, that it planned to launch free mobile games. Stranger Things and The Witcher being video games, could make Netflix more competitive.
It is not like Netflix may put Dave Chappelle’s comedy special, The Closer, into a video game. Would not that make you burst into tears of laughter, like you were caught with one pants leg on? Why not make a Netflix movie like The Paper Tigers and/or television series like The Yard into a video game. Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues is already a video game, which took elements of the Netflix series, where you can control four members of the Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do Dojos (including their sensei).
