Horizon Forbidden West Will Be On PS4 and PS5
On Thursday, “Sony” showed 14 minutes of the action/RPG (role-playing game) adventure, “Horizon Forbidden West” gameplay on “PS4 (PlayStation 4)” and “PS5 (Playstation 5). For the time being, it appears that “Horizon Forbidden West” will not be coming to “PC.”
The 14 minute video starts off with Mathijs de Jonge (the Game Director at ‘Guerrilla Games’) talking, then we see the remarkable gameplay. I can tell you already that after majority of people view the gameplay, they may be thinking “What in the Jurassic Park is going on?” “Horizon Forbidden West” is the sequel to “Horizon Zero Dawn.”
While we still are not sure about the official date “Horizon Forbidden West” will be released, it is set for some time in 2021. “Horizon Forbidden West” was created on the “Decima” game engine (which introduced us to games like ‘Killzone Shadow Fall’ and ‘Death Stranding’). “Decima” is not just any game engine, but an engine “Guerrilla Games” made from scratch (for the picturesque quality, artificial intelligence, and game physics). Also, the game engine is compatible with 4K resolution.
Gameplay:
There are robotic creatures that appear like dinosaurs on a post-apocalyptic beach settlement and Aloy (the protagonist) has to use survival tactics, which includes running away from them, using her surroundings to her advantage. She can sling plenty of arrows at her enemies. Jump (with the option of using a holographic hang glider), climb, and swim with a diving mask, but when she swims, there are creatures in the water as well.
As Aloy, use that noggin of yours to hide, so that you can avoid being caught. After you are on the land, you will find out that you can take control of a robotic creature and use weapons while riding it.
The main character has the responsibility of restoring the world and uncovering the secrets behind all of the threats. She will forge alliances with new factions, reunite with old friends, and unravel the legacy of the ancient past. Discover rich cultures, striking characters, and distant lands (where there are sunken cities, towering mountains of a futuristic America, and lush forests).
