Hideo Kojima new project

Kojima Productions' founder, Hideo Kojima, is once again teasing what is likely to be his next project. The famous developer shared a cryptic teaser image on Twitter a few hours before The Game Awards. Hideo Kojima is the brain behind the Metal Gear Solid series and Death Stranding.

Kojima has been dropping cryptic clues about his unconfirmed projects, and this one does not come as a surprise. His most recent tease comes in the form of an image of three silhouetted characters. Previously, the video game guru had confirmed that Shioli Kutsuna and Elle Fanning will be part of his next project. The cryptic message might mean we will soon find out the third actor or actress who will play a part in this enigmatic game.

Kojima captioned the image, “WHO,” “WHERE,” “HOW,” and now “WHY.” The caption provides no concrete details about what's happening. However, the image in Kojima’s tweet is fascinating, especially because three logos are below the three silhouettes. The three silhouettes are likely connected to each organization based on how the logos below them line up. The first logo has a tentacle monster being pierced with spears. This could possibly represent Shioli Kutsuna's group battling BTs. The logo in the middle has elements of a bridge and an umbrella in the center. In Death Stranding, Fragile carries an umbrella. Sam Bridges and Fragile will possibly cooperate in Death Stranding 2

As Sam Bridges disclosed in May, we already know that Death Stranding 2 is in development.  Additionally, in October, a report claimed that Death Stranding 2's codename is “Ocean.” We could also be wrong, as Kojima allegedly has another project, Overdose. Geoff Keighley, the host of this year's Game Awards, responded to each of Kojima's cryptic tweets. Additionally, the official Games Awards Twitter account retweeted Kojima’s Tweet. This further corroborates the idea that Kojima will reveal more information at the event.  We can only wait for Kojima to finally announce the project as we decipher the possible meanings of his baffling messages.
