Grand Theft Auto VI to Feature Sibling Protagonists, According to Leak

Updated on

You know, not a lot has come to light in terms of Grand Theft Auto VI‘s narrative. Besides the odd rumor about it being set in Vice City, not a great deal has been passed around. And as far as Rockstar is concerned—nothing will dare breach word of mouth until the time is right. Whenever that is.

That being said, there has been some new material surface as of late. Again, relating to the game's narrative, or, specifically, its protagonists. But rather than touching base on one particular hero, a certain Twitter leaker has shed light on two. Two siblings, at that.

According to Matheusvictorbr, Grand Theft Auto VI will be set around a brother and a sister, who are torn apart in the prologue of the game after their parents are killed. Set in 2003, somewhere in a city that has yet to be named, no less.

Take it with a grain of salt

Of course, seeing as Rockstar has yet to confirm any of this, it's sort of difficult to put all of our eggs in one basket. Although the leaker has been known to predict some genuinely solid information in the past, there will, unfortunately, always be reason to be weary around these sorts of things.

Whatever the case, we're more than happy to let Rockstar reveal the cards as and when. Which, by the way, are rumored to be revealed over the coming months. And if what others are saying is true, then the next leg of the journey could very well hit us by 2024. But we'll let you make your mind up on what's believable or not.

Thankfully, you can still follow Rockstar's official social hub for all the necessary concrete data here. Although known for being somewhat evasive in most situations involving upcoming projects, we still can't fault the original source.

So, what's your take? Are you buying any of this malarkey? Let us know over on our socials here or down in the comments below.
