Get Your Fortune Read In Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0

The second major update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has gone live ahead of schedule, with plenty of goodies being tucked into each and every island paradise all over the world. Coming with it, along with Brewster and the shanty-loving Kapp'n, is Katrina, the costly fortune teller that might just change the fate of your home away from home with some spellbinding visions.

As of today, Katrina will be peddling about in search of a new home on Harv's Island. In order to locate the fortune teller and have a reading, however, you'll first have to shell out a rough 100,000 Bells. Yes, 100,000. Do that, and you'll be able to take part in daily exercises, where Katrina herself will either shower you with happiness or misery, depending on which way the scales sway.

I'm sorry? 100,000?

More than just a friend

Of course, having the luxury of being granted a fortune on a daily basis is one thing. Having a quirky villager enlighten you with some kooky facts, however, is well worth the spare Bells. Sure, it's a hefty price to pay — but a worthy one if you just so happen to be feeling lucky.

On top of Katrina planting roots on Harv's Island, Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 will also roll out the red carpet for the mocha-loving Brewster, along with his snug café down in the museum. And then, sprinkling a few dozen cherries on top, the second update will also pack in tonnes of new shop items, tools and miscellaneous features that will boost your island life.

Unfortunately, the second update will be the last for New Horizons. According to Nintendo, the latest batch of goodies won't be following up with another thread any time soon. So, having said that, it's probably best you make the most of what's available. New Horizons has reached its final leg of the journey.

You can fire up Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 today on Nintendo Switch. For more updates, you can follow the official social handle here.
