Games on Steam is a weekly installment that tackles the latest and greatest Indie games on this popular platform. Today, we will talk about fixing Mars Rover, the benefits of being a bird, the best way to hold a sword, and the best way to escape from a human trafficking organization.
Aery – Broken Memories
To start, we have an interesting mix of adventure and flight simulation. In Aery, you take the role of the bird flying through the memories and fears of an unknown person. Your goal is to find memory shards that will slowly piece an intriguing story. Controls in Aery are really fluid, letting you easily lose yourself for hours at a time. All in all, this is a beautiful adventure perfect for relaxing on a Sunday afternoon.
Rover Mechanic Simulator
Rover Mechanic Simulator just might be engineers wet dream. As a member of the very first Mars colony, your job is to fix and grease up the Mars Rover. This is everything but simple, and you will have to use soldering, 3D printers, a recycling machine, and a dozen other tools to get the job done. In short, this simulator is pretty detailed and engaging, although it’s a bit tedious at times.
Next, we have a promising multiplayer action game. Set in an arena, Boreal Blade concentrates on player vs player melee combat, which makes it similar to Mordhau and For Honor. Although seemingly simple, there’s much depth to each of the 4 fighting styles. Boreal Blade encourages players to experiment with different armors and weapons, so you will not get bored any time soon. The game is still in early access, but it’s polished and well worth your time if you are a fan of swordplay. It’s just a small cut Rodrigo, I am fine Steam
Fragile is an unnerving adventure/horror game that follows the story of a young girl. She has been abducted by human traffickers and your goal is to escape from this intense nightmare. Doing so is quite challenging, and you will have to solve a dozen interesting puzzles. Fragile has many brutal moments intertwined with a heartbreaking story that really makes it stand out.
Aurora: A Child’s Journey
Lastly, we have a sweet emotional adventure. The game follows Aurora, a young girl on a quest to find out who is responsible for the fire that is burning around her village. The game has a simple, but gut-wrenching story that will make you think about ways in which we impact our environment. Although Aurora is pretty short, it will stay with you for quite a while.
