Fortnite Week 10 Quest Guide

Fortnite is finally embracing the spirit of the spooky season with the launch of Fortnitemares. The yearly themed event seeks to spook up the battle-royale scene through Halloween-themed skins, items, and locations. And you can start soaking up all the Halloween-themed action, as Fortnitemares begins today, October 18, and will commence on November 1. Many eager players have already begun diving into the action, as Fortnitemares is one of the game's most anticipated annual events. However, this year's new additions are making the event especially memorable.

The highlight of this year's Fortnitemares event is werewolves, or more so, getting the chance to play as a werewolf. Players can perform a Ritual Emote at different Alteration Altars spread across the map that will offer players the Howler Claws. This is one of the new themed items, and it grants you werewolf-like abilities. You can get a glimpse of how they work, in the official Fortnitemares 2022 trailer below. But keep reading on, because we have all the details on everything Fortnitemares is implementing into the game just below.

Everything Coming With Fortnitemares

Just as we dress up for Halloween, it's only appropriate that the map does so for Fortnitemares. That's why you'll come across many Halloween-themed alterations on the map, such as Candy popping up outside houses. Which you can consume for health, shield, and buffs to movement and speed. But it's not just the map, items are also getting re-worked as well. That's why if you participated in events from previous years, you'll be happy to learn that Pumpkin Launchers are returning for this year's event.

Fortnitemares is also bringing a new event – Horde Rush. This cooperative game mode has you and your teammates fending off waves of zombies all to reach one terrifying final boss fight. This mode will remain until November 15, two weeks past Fortnitemare's expiry.

Of course, the event wouldn't be completed without some Fortnitemares-themed quests to complete. Each day, for the duration of the event, two new quests will be available that can grant players limited-time cosmetics. You can get the Everything's End Glider, by completing 5 themed quests. There's the Chrome Cage Back Bling for completing 13 themed quests. And finally, the Unmaker Picaxe, for completing 25 themed quests. So what are you waiting for? Get in on Fortnitemares!
