Fortnite is already gearing up for its next line of exciting cosmetic items. And this time, the battle royale is pairing up with the popular music and arts festival Coachella. Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, announced on Thursday that the game will be collaborating with Coachella. For gamers, this means loads of new cosmetics, skins, and a radio station.

The Icon Radio Station will run until May 16th and will feature more than 30 artists performing at the music festival. Players can tune in to the radio station when they hop in a Joyride vehicle in the game. The announcement did not mention which artists will be a part of the collab. So players will have to take the Joyride and find out.

Cosmic Equalizer Skins in the Shop!

Apart from the radio, players can get their hands on some exclusive Coachella skins and cosmetics. As of now, players can unlock Wilder and Lyric outfits. Both skins feature Cosmic Equalizer, so they'll react to the music. Wilder comes with Finfin Back Bling, Neon Biter Pickaxe, and Finfin Flair Wrap. Meanwhile, Lyric brings along Swaguaro Back Bling and Festival Shredder Axe.

On April 21, two more Coachella skins will be rolled out. Poet will be accompanied by Cosmonautic Helmet Back Bling, Mainstage Wrap, and the  Cactical Crusher Pickaxe. Meanwhile, Alto would have Sonic Vibes Back Bling and the Softest Electropalm Pickaxe. Both skins are Cosmic Equalizer and will react to the music.

If you buy the Dancing at Coachella bundle, you'll get both these skins along with the Enter the Coachellaverse loading screen.

Fortnite x Coachella: The Fortography Event

Epic Games also announced a “Fortography” event. Players have to click screenshots with the new Coachella skin and post them with hashtag #Fortography. Fortnite will then share the best ones in a blog post on April 29th.

As music and pop icons have always played a major role in Fortnite, the Coachella collab is very welcome. It would be interesting to see which artists will be jamming through the Icon Radio.
