Fall Guys is Now Free for All, Exclusively on Epic Games Store

Tips for Beginners
As of today, June 21st, 2022, Fall Guys is now free on the Epic Games Store.

The announcement that Fall Guys was relaunching as free-to-play came last month, however, hidden within the fine text was that the game will be removed from Steam. It's safe to say that many gamers who went to download the game today on the platform were taken back by this, but it's not as detrimental as you might think. If you already own the Steam copy in your library, there really isn't any change. Your game will run and update along with players who are playing from the Epic Store.

With that comes more exciting news, but it's all pleasant and luckily, doesn't include any more unwanted surprises. The Fall Guy's relaunch as a free-to-play game coincides with the release of its new Season 1, named Free for All. Fitting name right? This is bringing tons of exciting new content to the game, and we have all the details just below.

Details for Fall Guys Season 1: Free for All

Along with the re-launch today, Fall Guys is now available on Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles. To go with it, the game now has cross-play and cross-progression across all of its platforms. This only makes sense now that the game is free-to-play since it allows more players to join the festivities, regardless of their console.

Additionally, players who already own the game will receive a “Legacy pack” as a bonus. This includes the first season pass and a bunch of skins and cosmetics. This is a nice little incentive if you're a part of the crew that paid a premium for the game before it was made free-to-play today.

Lastly to come alongside the Free for All season are seven new maps with completely new obstacles. There is Speed Circuit, The Swiveller, Track Attack, Bounce Party, Hex-A-Ring, Blast Ball, and lastly, Volleyfall. All of the games include new obstacles, some of which are variants on previous maps, but all of them are more challenging and are making the game a fun new experience for its new free-to-play state.
