Electronic Arts is rumored to be announcing several new titles in July. Reports say that the company plans to reveal three major games in July.

Tom Henderson, a reputable insider, claims that EA will reveal FIFA, Need for Speed, and Skate games. According to Henderson, EA will announce the games individually. However, he did not give any specific dates. He also mentioned that his sources assured him that EA would announce FIFA and Need for Speed in the second half of July.

EA previously confirmed that it will not host EA Play Live in 2022. The company claims it would only reveal their game releases at the appropriate time and  “when they're ready” throughout the year.

EA first revealed Skate during the EA Play online presentation in June 2020. The company confirmed that the project was still in the early stages. Codemasters, which EA recently acquired, is currently working on the Need for Speed title in collaboration with Criterion.

Tom Henderson's report on Exputer gives more details on FIFA 23. EA plans to bring cross-play functionality to FIFA 23, which the developer already tested in FIFA 22. The developer has already confirmed that the game will feature leagues and world cups for both men and women. Exputer's article also indicates that the game would not be free-to-play, despite recent speculations to the contrary on the internet.

The Last FIFA Game

Fans and players are anticipating FIFA 23, considering it is the last EA game to feature the brand name FIFA. EA will, however, continue to produce and publish soccer games in the coming year under the brand “EA Sports FC.” EA has been releasing soccer games under the brand name FIFA since 1993. FIFA will be parting ways with EA after the new game's release and transfer the franchise name to a new firm. As of now, we have no idea who will be developing the game in the future. There have been speculations that the football governing body may be looking to join up with Konami.
