Elden Ring Colosseum DLC Confirmed, Releasing Tomorrow

Finally, FromSoftware has confirmed that Elden Ring will get a Colosseum DLC. Fans of the action role-playing game will not have to wait too long as the DLC drops tomorrow, December 7. The good news is that you don't have to spend a penny since it's free.
FromSoftware announced the news on Twitter with a teaser trailer. The news has confirmed that data mine reports of an Elden Ring Colosseum area were accurate. Earlier in March, data miners discovered an unutilized Colosseum in the game's files. Rumors had it that it would be used in a future DLC. And sure enough, they were correct.
The one-minute trailer begins with Tarnished making the harrowing journey over the Lands Between. The Colosseum Update introduces new PvP modes. PvP modes allow players to engage in combat in the enormous arenas strewn throughout The Lands Between. The trailer does not give more details about these new game types. However, it shows one-on-one combat alongside what looks like doubles and even three-on-three confrontations. Players will have a great deal to learn about what the DLC contains on their own when it launches tomorrow.
Come forth, warriors, and bask in the glory of the Colosseum.
Prove your worth in various duels and battles, together or on your own in the free Colosseum Update. Coming December 7.#ELDENRING pic.twitter.com/TAq4c0vaG2

The Colosseums are pretty familiar to Elden Ring players, as they have been there since its release. However, they were not accessible during regular gaming. Famed Souls hacker and modder Lance McDonald visited and explored the war arenas earlier this year. Tomorrow’s surprise release will be Elden Ring‘s first set of DLC outside of routine fixes and updates. The release comes a day before The Game Awards. Elden Ring has been nominated for seven awards, including game of the year. We hope to see the developer reveal more DLCs during the awards.
Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4/ 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
