eFootball 2022 Is A Disaster and How Can This Be Good For Video Games?

Updated on

Why is eFootball 2022 considered a disastrous Steam launch? eFootball 2022 has bugs and exceptional online play that could make those playing it, feel like they are in the hot seat. The game is free, however, you can pre-purchase the game for a Premium Player Deck, at $39.99. Steam did offer two mechanics for modes, planned specifically for future updates, (being the in-game currency and chance deals). eFootball 2022 was officially released on September 29, 2021 and is available for the following platforms: PS4 (PlayStation 4), PS5 (PlayStation 5), Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows 10, and PC Steam (and iOS, and Android for the future).

eFootball 2022 is virtual soccer with enhanced graphics and gameplay. To achieve the ambitious objective of creating the perfect head-to-head experience, a new engine was implemented, changing the entire atmosphere of the game. It provides a new way to showcase a focus on 1v1 battles, player animations, and updated commands for offense and defense. Choose your favorite players and managers for the ultimate dream team. Train your players to keep them at their peak performance and participate in weekly tournaments, based on real-world match-ups.

Why eFootball 2022 Is A Virtual Disaster?:

Many people reported that eFootball 2022 has disruptive bugs and animation mishaps on the launch day. Originally, eFootball 2022 was titled Pro Evolution Soccer, which was already a wonderful title. Besides the long wait with the game understandably being developed (2 years) and the game being nearly unrecognizable from the trailer (released back in 2020), the menu designs can be harmful to your eyes. The in-game graphics improved, but the designs of the menus do not appear cleverly done.

Everyone is not a victim of experiencing the umpteen glitches this game has, like two players jostling for possession of a soccer ball, only to appear like levitating, decapitated action figures. This is just a virtual soccer game (with dishonorable gameplay) that needed more time in the development process, but before you may ramble too much about it, ask yourself, “Can you create a video game?”

At least having a variety of different people in the crowds could make the game slightly better. When the camera zooms in, the players faces may lose their shape or their eyes do not appear normal. I do not think that the game is literally a disaster, but there are numerous routes the developers could have taken to officially revise it.

Learning from eFootball 2022’s mistakes, game developers, moving forward should avoid the same mistakes. eFootball 2022 is claimed by many people to be the worst game on Steam, to being the worst soccer game ever.

Dodge what you feel like fans would enjoy and create the game that would perfectly suit you. Then add features the fans would enjoy as a bonus. If a game has bugs in it, it does not take a genius to know, you should not charge others for the unfinished process, especially if they do not know it is unfinished.
